The
purpose CreditCheckMate5 (CCM), a software program, is to let you
achieve and maintain complete control over the correctness of your
credit profile that is collected and stored with the major Credit
Agencies; Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax also called Credit Bureaus.
The information that credit
bureaus collect about you and provide to their business
customers is your profile that the state
and federal governments allows them to collect and maintain (the credit
profiles) under very specific rules known as the Fair Credit Reporting
Act (FCRA) and similar Public Laws in the State in which you reside.
CCM is a credit repair software solution that does not require
that you subscribe or enroll in a service. CCM is a credit
profile error correction program which allows you to easily repair any
errors contained on your Credit Report and in that way your Credit is
made better or “repaired” which may also increase your Credit Score.
CCM was designed for credit consumers to
easily protect their credit identity from the harmful effects of poor
record keeping and errors that are placed onto their credit profiles.
CCM also includes credit scoring comparison and analysis reports that
may give you a better understanding of how credit granters view
your Credit Report and what factors affect your credit score.

Getting
Started
CCM is a
user compatible program that interacts with you to provide a friendly
session experience. Most users will not require any guidance to use CCM
after they have entered their personal information. If you are
comfortable with working with other Windows applications or programs
then CCM will be very easy to use. Also CCM menus and screens handle
your request with little as one click of your mouse and/or the Access
keys. CCM Software Engine is a wizard based technology that will always
have a solution to the tasks within the scope of the program.

Features
When you
click Save CCM initializes your
data files and analyzes your input for your credit score. The main CCM
screen shown here displays the File
menu Tab. Inside the Text Editor we have displayed a welcome letter to
you which will appear for only one more launch. On the bottom of CCM
screen is called the Status Panel that contains information about eight
items that are changed by you or CCM. The items you change are current
User Name, and current Bureau. You make the User Name change through
the Select menu and User
button located on the Animated Toolbar located above the Status
Panel. This will
become clear once you have click those buttons. The Ln, Col, and Pg
numbers are
updated each time cursor/caret changes line/column/Page position in the

analysis by CCM. The Spell Check indicator will be visible
when the Spell Check Button is clicked.
The Text
Editor receives all information from the CCM letter and report creator
which uses 12 point Courier New type font only in the display. All
files created by the Text Editor are in richtext format (rtf) and may

another editor to edit documents created by CCM you should save them in
the rtf format or to another name/folder.

Setup Page margins are the
blank space around the edges of the page. In general, you insert text
and graphics in the printable area between the margins. Most printers
require a minimum width for margin settings, because they can't print
all the way to the edge of the page. CCM’s default page margins are set
to 1 inch which should be appropriate for most printers but you can
change the margins to suit the needs of your printer.
Print Preview

Text Editor before printing.

Envelope is described in the Printing Envelopes which addresses and prints envelopes for the Credit Bureaus, State and Federal consumer protection agencies contained in CCM’s data base.

button you are about to click and have larger area to click.

The
Ribbon is designed to help you quickly find the commands that you need

collected together under tabs. Each tab relates to a type of activity,
such as Disputing or Following up. To reduce screen clutter, some tabs
are shown only when they are needed. You can quickly toggle from

Menu
Tab
Every
document that is created by CCM is sent to the Text Editor except the
CCM Score Report which is sent to print preview. Documents in the Text
Editor may use the features of the Edit Menu items which are all
clipboard operations that follow Microsoft’s Windows applications that
allow the same features. For example if you familiar with Copy and
Paste feature of Word you can apply the same understanding to that of
CCM’s Text Editor. To use an Edit Menu feature you first select or
highlight the text by clicking and holding the mouse pointer at start
of text position then holding the left mouse button down and then drag
mouse to the end of the text you want to select then
release mouse. Click the button of the Edit Menu feature you want to
use.

CCM’s
Text Editor provides moderate word processing features that enable you
to edit all documents created by CCM for the Text Editor and they are
created in richtext format (rtf) which is compatible with most full
featured word processors.

considers all operations as User and Credit Bureau aware relationships.
The Bureaus contain different credit profiles on you so when working
with your credit report CCM verifies the current User and the current
Credit Bureau.

The
Select Menu highlights The current User and Credit Bureau. To Change to
a different User/Bureau click on that User/Bureau or you can use the
access key press ALT + S and then the key for the User/Bureau you want
to make current.

GetReport
is a credit report request wizard that automates getting your credit
report from the credit bureaus. The two ways that you request your
credit report are free and paid. Most users will qualify for a free
report but in subsequent credit report request may be paid request. You
may select your free or paid request from one or all three Credit
Bureaus of Experian, TransUnion and Equifax by clicking on the
report(s) you want.

In this
example the Free All button is
clicked
(instead
you could use the access keys ALT + G + A) and the
following Request Credit Profile menu is displayed.

The
Request Credit Profile has six radio buttons for choosing the way that
you are entitled to free credit report. In this example the “I have not
received a Credit Report within the past 12 months” is ticked and the

exit Print Preview Dialog and Edit/Print from CCM’s Text Editor.

CCM saves
most Created Documents in ccmreports/createsusr1 and
ccmreports/createsusr2 folders. CCM saves these Created Document for
the last report created. This is not the same as saving your edited
document to a file. To save your edited documents to a folder use the

this example Portrait and Experian have been selected. The envelope to
be printed is displayed. Click Print or Cancel.
